I DO BELIEVE this is happening more than we would care to acknowledge. We take brilliant kids, and treat them like mental cases.

I'm so G.D. tired of it. And that's putting it NICELY!!!!!!!!!

To Jack,
I read about your game designing and your desire to change public perceptions regarding autism. My grandson, Kyle Cramer, thinks along the same lines as you do. You can read his story in the Sports Stories section. We live in the state of Oregon in the US. What caught my eye was your interest in creating video games. Kyle, at seventeen he is a bit older than you, is an avid video game player and has been working to develop a movie story line involving characters like those in the Super Smash Bros. Most of all I wanted you to know that he has said many times, even on our local TV station, that being autistic isn't so bad. He has had so many good things happen because of it. I know that you too will have great success in life because you have a gift. As Kyle says, I see things that other people are not aware of. That and his ability to focus have led to his archery ability. So keep striving and remember that it's those other people who have a problem. Take care. From Karen Green, just another granny who wanted you to know that I am as proud of you as your mother is.

So, Kim Hing can have freedom of speech, but Psycho Donuts can't?

Every human being on this earth can find something that is offensive to them. I doubt that anyone in that club group or the P.D. owner would wish bad on Mrs. Hing.

Comparing to the KKK? Are you serious? What a horrible accusation? And you say they are out of line?

Obviously, anyone who brings up this much attention to themselves, posting their name all over the internet, is looking for attention. Disability, or not, that's just Human Beings 101.

No offense to your life decisions, but don't waste your time. Enjoy your life and be happy. There's always going to be someone appearing against us. Did you ever talk to the owner?

Wow.... I thought that our colleges and universities were supposed to be *Free Speech* zones, not bastions of enforced agreement. I find it more than ironic that "Kim Hing" can huff and puff the command : "Do not presume to tell me that I need to learn to laugh at myself. You do not know my experiences." ... while taking it on herself to decide for everyone else what they can say and think.

Freedom applies to *everyone*, not just the "offended".
