Neurodiversity Events

The Autism Acceptance Project regularly presents exhibitions, lectures, and other events to improve society’s understanding of autism “as a strength, ability and difference, so that autistic children receive their right to equal education, opportunity and acceptance in society.” Information about these events can be found on the TAAP Events Page.

You can support TAAP when you shop online for books, clothing, office supplies and other items. Here’s a directory of online stores that have agreed to contribute a percentage of your purchases to TAAP. Please buy from these stores and support the cause of autism acceptance!

The Raventones, a folk-jazz band with an autistic lead singer, performs in the United States to raise awareness of neurodiversity. Check this out if you are looking to book a band for an event or if you would be interested in attending one of their scheduled performances.

Ventura33’s Neurodiversity Page invites writers of Star Trek fanfic to contribute to a collection of stories featuring autistic characters and others with neurological differences in the Trek universe. The page also has a mirror site.
